The Action Operating System (AOS) and the Spatial Metric Interweaving
This article describes the Action Operating System (AOS), the third-level executive architecture of the Integrated Theory of Mind (TIM), dedicated to the Ego Agens (EA). The AOS is specialized in the metric measurement and segmentation of the physical world, operating under the principle of Quantum Morphogenesis (QM). At its core lies the Metric Interweaving Im3/Ip3 (Premotor Cortex / Parietal Cortex), which calculates “where” and provides metric precision. However, the system must first “know” the entity of interaction (the “What” pathway) by activating the Associative Cortex (Holistic Ip3) (Level 2). The sensory analysis produced by the AOS is defined as Quantum Perception (sequential and segmented), which informs the segmented executive motor command. The final Output of the AOS is segmented and metric movement, essential for manipulation and safe navigation in space.
