This article constitutes the in-depth monograph of the Integrated Theory of Mind (TIM) dedicated to Node 2 of the Prognostica Mens, rigorously explored through the lens of the Cognitive-Informational Domain: The Computational Dichotomy. While the biophysical counterpart of this node decoded the material hardware (Ephaptic Coupling and Thalamocortical friction), this essay unveils the cybernetic “software” of consciousness. The article logically models the mind as a hierarchical control system based on a rigorous binary decision tree, structured to optimize computational bandwidth.
